David Sylvian album regardless of title. A real gem for the right day
Followed the suggested artist right to a forgotten favorite album from the day. David Sylvian in rare form here. Most of his fans (and I'm one) consider his post Japan stuff the best. This album/project has him reuniting with his younger cohorts and creating a masterpiece. There seems to be a little bit less morose with David in these songs. Still contemplative, meditative, but a certain joy that perhaps is there because he's with old friends?
Blackwater (below) is a great tune, but "Every Color You Are" is my favorite.
Anyway, definitely worth a listen on those days when you want to be mellow and the snow is blowing sideways across your window. Like it is today!
