Another fun show. This time an all-time jam, being Moma Dance. I love Moma, like a lot. It was born from a funk jam in 1997, Black Eyed Katy, and on this night got the full type II treatment. It kinda cracked me up cause the second set "Soul Shakedown Party" opener had me super happy/ready and i was expecting a huge jam to follow, then Moma, which they haven't really been altering much lately and usually finds itself in the first set. Just shows never expect anything cause phish is all about anything can happen. Rest of show was great too. Loved the first set choices again, cracks me up that people hate on Sparkle. I mean is there a harder song to try and keep up with dancing? It is a blast to try. Heard a lot about all the flubs during this show but they chose some really hard composed songs and i love that stuff so don't mind not hearing it perfect.
