A night to remember
If you didn't think Paul was taking in the night. Zoom in right there.
The beauty of that venue with the colors from the storm was like watching a show in a painting all night.
When they say a show is "electric", uh...literally
Who's scared of a little rain? Well I was. But they weren't.
Especially this guy who made us rush from cover into our seats as soon as he heard the first song and was dancing on the 8th encore.
What a great event. Rain pulled everyone together and whether it's a real goodbye or not the crowd was there to send Paul off in the town it all started with enthusiastic love. I was struck by the fact that there were 4 people in my group, born in 3 separate continents, spanning 45+ years of age between us, all with deep personal connections to this mans music. And all equally blown away from the night.
THANK YOU PAUL SIMON.
Our 88 year young member of our party left us all with the quote of the evening in the car ride home, soaked, wet, and spent. "Can you imagine giving that much pleasure to that many people? How can someone walk away from that? If I had a chance to tell him, I'd pull the 'boy' aside and say "shame". "
Just sharing Paul, in case you read this.
