Today in History: "Dancing In The Dark" Video Shoot Begins

Thirty-two years ago today, Bruce Springsteen shot the music video for his hit single "Dancing In The Dark." The video featured 20-year-old Courteney Cox as a fan dancing on stage with the band at St. Paul Civic Center in Minneapolis, MN.
"Dancing In The Dark" became Springsteen's first video to get significant airplay on MTV. He went on to win an MTV Video Music Award for Best Stage Performance in a video.
The band shot the video just before kicking-off their 1984 tour to promote “Born in the U.S.A.”
