Public Enemy is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and rightly so. They put on one heck of a show. I love that they are and have always been outspoken as to the state of the world. They use their art to try and educate the masses as to things anyone only seeking normal outlets might miss, example being they saluted both assumed presidential nominees with middle fingers asking why we accept the two party system? But that is neither here nor there and strictly as a concert music wise the show worked well. They played all the hits, mixed in some new stuff, paid tribute to Prince, Rick James and others, plus got the crowd dancing like crazy. I'll never forget begging my mom for weeks to buy me a copy of parental explicit lyric stickered Fear of a Black Planet when i was 12, so to see them finally live sounding as fresh as that cassette did back then really made my day.
