Arctic Monkeys Play Their First Gig

You always remember your first time, and June 13, 2003, was a day to remember for The Arctic Monkeys.
The band played their first gig as a group on that date in 2003. The show took place at The Grapes pub in Sheffield, England.
The Arctic Monkeys performed some early tracks including "Ravey Ravey Ravey Club" and "Curtains Closed" and mixed in covers of "Black Math" and "Hotel Yorba" by The White Stripes, "Teenage Kicks" by The Undertones, "I'm Only Sleeping" by The Beatles and "Harmonic Generator" by The Datsuns.
They grossed a whopping 27 pounds from ticket sales, which is about $38 in 2016.
