Got there and back from Conn. in the back of a Subaru Brat, and it was such a spur of the moment thing all I had on was jeans, a thin t-shirt, and sneakers. Note well: 50 degrees at 75 mph for an hour is seriously, seriously bone chilling. Probably the worst I ever suffered to see a show. But I got my only High Time. ♫♪♫ ♫♪♫ ♫♪♫

This show was just a few days before the (late addition to the tour) 9/6/80 Lewiston, ME show. If there ever was one show that is an all time consensus favorite for all that attended, Lewiston is it. I'm forever waiting for an officially released version on Dave's Picks. Lewiston is the one!

Lewiston was great! I've been wishing for a good recording since the final chords of Sugaree! Unfortunately, not holding my breath. Dave Lemieux said when 30 Trips came out that Lewiston would've been the show for 1980 but they don't have a decent quality recording. (The quote was in the Lewiston Sun Journal but it's behind a paywall; I couldn't find it anywhere else.) So unless something else surfaces, we'll have to be content with what's on archive, org, etree, org, etc. And our memories, of course!
