Happy Birthday JB!

Happy Birthday JB! To celebrate, we're taking a look at some of our favorite acoustic JB moments.
We’re starting off by throwing it back to December 17, 1990 in Athens, Georgia. Watch JB play “Benefactor” while Roosevelt grooves along with him.
Fast forward to Lyons, Colorado at the Kinfolk Celebration on September 19, 2014. During his solo set, JB played a mix of covers and Panic tunes. In this snippet, he starts off with “Tickle the Truth” and segues into a soulful cover of “Quarter Tank of Gasoline.” Watch the video of the first set below.
On the last day of Bonnaroo 2011, JB played a short solo set at the Solar Stage. In this clip, he starts off with Panic favorite “Already Fried,” then moves on to talk about his decision to add solar panels to his home. He closed the set with a fiery performance of “Chilly Water.” Check it out below.
John Bell is affiliated with Hannah’s Buddies, an organization that supports SMA (spinal muscular atrophy) research. For many years, he’s helped raise millions of dollars through Hannah’s Buddies benefit concerts held at the House of Blues in Orlando, FL. Check out the full set from the benefit show on January 6, 2001.
JB welcomed Buck Williams on the harmonica during a benefit concert on January 22, 2005.
This last video is from a Hannah’s Friends benefit concert on January 18, 2003 and it may be one of the best (in our opinion). JB weaves in and out of “Space Wrangler” and the crowd clearly digs it. Watch the clip below and be sure to let us know which one is your favorite!
