Here are some of our favorite videos of Robert Randolph crushing it in good ol’ New York State!
Back in 2005, Robert Randolph was asked to be featured on "All That I Am," Santana’s nineteenth studio album. Randolph was featured in the song “Trinity” and later that year, he played alongside Carlos Santana and showed off his skills! Check out the video of them getting down at Hammerstein Ballroom on November 1, 2005.
Robert Randolph can bring down the house anywhere he goes. In this special video, Robert Randolph performs “Lenny” with Soulive at Brooklyn Bowl on March 5, 2011.
In 2013, Robert Randolph & The Family Band came out with their 4th studio album "Lickity Split," which includes their single “Born Again.” Here’s a great live rendition of them performing “Born Again” at Rockwood Music Hall on June 10, 2013.
The popular supergroup The Word includes many well known performers — from Cody and Luther Dickinson to John Medeski and the man himself Robert Randolph. This instrumental jam band shows of their artistry in more ways than one. Check out their full set at The Capitol Theatre on May 1, 2014.
The New York Blues Festival is a fun-filled weekend with artists from different genres coming together to share in the groove. On July 11, 2015, Robert Randolph & The Family Band took the festival stage by storm and played everything from original tunes to blues covers. Watch clips of full set below!
Honorable Mention:
Although not an official Thanksgiving Jam, Robert Randolph & the Family Band played just a few days after the holiday at The Capitol Theatre and dropped the funk! Watch Robert Randolph & The Family band perform Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love.”
