This is the pinnacle for all fans of Bruce. Scored a pair of the cheap seats. The show is amazing...moving. My wife actually cried! He has a gift of gab and pulls you into stories and makes you become vested in the narrative with ease. One guy I heard mention..."this is almost spiritual"...indeed...indeed. Patti was there...and just about everything else I could say has been said....so...1 TIP...At the end rush outside to the stage left if you want to catch Bruce leaving. My wife went to the bathroom. That was a mistake. I caught Bruce waving from his car as he left. My pix were all of the security guard running along by the car...bummmer. I hang back waiting for the wife...oh well.

Wow that’s some GREAT luck!

My wife and I are seeing him on 4/7/18. The good thing, we're both going to the show, the bad thing we have to sit apart!. Being one of the toughest tickets to get on Broadway (especially the cheaper seats), it was impossible to get a pair together. We got one seat in the balcony and one seat in the mezzanine. Regardless, this will be a fantastic show and we're both really looking forward to it!

@44Tuna oh what did you get them thru Lucky Seats? Show is incredible. Have fun

Thanks for the post and the tips !

@BrettOG actually, I got them via the Verified Fan through Ticketmaster. After feverishly trying to get a pair for a half an hour (I had the 12:00 time slot), I called my wife and told her if it was ok if I went alone. She had no issues with that so I tried for a single ticket and on the second try, I got one. Because the ticket limit I believe was two, I tried the access code again, it worked, and I was able to get another single after the third try. There were pairs available, but I honestly couldn't justify paying $600 and up for the show. Can't wait!!

@musicaddict https://www.luckyseat.com/lottery.php Site is a known entity amongst the broadway crowd. Its legit. Not how I got my tix tho.

@BrettOG I got a time slot for the new round of shows starting on sale tomorrow. If I can snag a $75- seat I'll go for it - otherwise I wait for the DVD/Blu-Ray release in 2019 !..LOL
Picture?width=180&height=180

@musicaddict OH EXCELLENT 4th round has to be the trick. I would try again if I could. This round is for folks that haven't won anything. Its actually pretty cool for fans.

@BrettOG Yeah - I was glad I got the email since I was locked out of all the other sales, but part of me also wonders about these high cost tix. When I saw Bruce & The E Street Band when they came back in 1999 the tix were $67.50 ( and that was a 15th row center seat !) and Bruce did his utmost to keep the prices reasonable for the Fans. I get that Broadway is a big deal and all - but he could play at the Count Basie or in Morristown or any one of dozens of small theatres around the NY-NJ area and probably put on the same show at a more reasonable price.

@musicaddict I think his fans have seen him. Supply and Demand. No artist his level is playing mid tier venues. The show on Broadway is a show. Its not a concert. The songs are all reworked. If you are going to do a Broadway show...why do it in MOrristown?

@BrettOG I think the fact that it's on B'way is inflating the prices, not just supply and demand. The Walter Kerr theatre is very small, has less seats than some of the other theaters I suggested. So yeah, it's about the aura and cache of playing a Broadway show for Bruce, and for the Fans too, but I just think the prices are way too high, and it feels to me like Bruce doesn't have the same concern about that as he once did. I'm sorry man, ..Glad you had a great time, and I do appreciate your sharing the photos and thoughts on it all.
