I had a poster of 'Joshua Tree' in my dorm room
And I waited inline for hours outside a chain record store to get in a lottery to get these seats way way up in the nosebleeds. It didn't matter. U2 definitely knows how to put on a stadium show. This was 'Zoo Station' (the tour supporting 'Achtung Baby') and they had giant video screens everywhere and modified Trabants flying high above the audience. Bono ordered a pizza delivered to the White House from the stage. These things seem quaint now but for me in 1992 this was some cutting edge avant garde weirdness! the best part was that the audience sang along to every single song, so that my cheap seats section of Dodgers Stadium became as close knit as any midnight choir.
