one of the first stadium shows I attended

Floor seats with my best friend Brooke U Walker. We walked over from campus because we were both going to USC at the time. Hammered on SoCo - I thought that made us sophisticated because we were underage. Living Color were the first opening act and they were positively blistering. Guns 'N' Roses went on next and Axl was visibly drunk and fighting with other band members. I think he said it would be their last show together as Guns 'N' Roses (it wasn't). But then they played an incredible version of 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door' and the whole stadium just melted. I wasn't a huge Stones an before this show but I will admit now before God and everyone that Mick Jagger's charisma reached me that night. By the time they played 'Brown Sugar', I was a true believer.

Like @Seth Schiesel, this was for the 'Steel Wheels' tour.
