Memorable show

Was working on 29th street that day and saw he was playing. I had just returned to the city after an extended time away traveling and Leonard was my traveling companion throughout. Decided last minute to walk to the Garden, scalp a last minute ticket, and watch the show solo. I'm never expecting much from (sorry L) "old man shows" but recall being moved to tears to actually SEE Cohen for the first time live with a packed Garden of more than appreciative fans. At 70+ the guy commanded the audience with the power of his song and his commitment. Really one of the best shows I've seen.

I think one of the greatest things about living in NYC is the music that comes through here. You never know what will happen when you step outside the office after work.

Seriously JH. Some of my best shows are last minute.

Wow, I was also at this show! My friend Francy and I had tickets, and she was convinced we'd get there quicker if she drove her car in from Brooklyn. She was wrong, and we missed the first 20 min of Mr Cohen's EPIC performance. Leonard literally GOT DOWN ON HIS KNEES and vocally, lyrically, took the whole stadium with him. So incredible!

I remember that clearly when he got on knees.
