Great music, but emotionless performance

Poolside has great music, but their live performance lacks energy and emotion. They don't really seem to care that they're performing for a crowd. I don't know if it there were sound issues or lack of effort, but the vocals didn't register for a few of their songs. This is one of those bands that's better to listen to at home on a stereo than to witness live.

I disagree - the sound was definitely off and it seemed like an off night. They were awkward and uncomfortable (kept asking for whiskey which no one brought them...)... I've seen them before and as a band they are pretty tight.

I too have seen them before about a year and a half ago. I felt the same way then, but hoped it was because they were just new to touring because their debut album had just been released. I was hoping that they would have found some on-stage confidence, but it was exactly the same.

Don't get me wrong, I love their music. I just think they don't know how to be a live band.
