eh, I could have listened at home
I love Chet Faker's latest record, Built on Glass. Its hypnotic and odd and groovy all at the same time! I get that it's a lot of knob-twiddling. But when one plays a decent-sized room like Music Hall of Williamsburg, one is obliged to 'put on a show' as it were. Mr Faker may as well have just put on the album and left the stage for all the presence he brought to it. The opening act was embarrassingly terrible, I began to suspect that Sweater Beats performed simply to make Chet Faker seem more professional.
