My first concert! Social Studies teacher chartered a bus and filled it with students. Unbelievably great time!

Seems like sacrilege to say it...but good. Gregg has cancelled the last few shows I was supposed to see him at going back like 6 months and TTB are playing incredible shows. Sometimes you just have to move on...
I'd love to see the Back Where It All Begins lineup one more time. Minus Allen Woody of course, may he RIP.
I can't see ABB without Trucks at this point. Would be super cool to have Dickie Betts back but no way Warren and Dickie can make up for DT who has become an integral part of ABB. Either way, I'd go see any revival of Allman brothers with any members, past or present, because it's just damn good music and so is TBB!
today is a sad day
I had a ticket to this show but the week before 9/19/1970 I went to what was billed as an evening with the Grateful Dead starting at 10PM ( PigPen "Go home and fuck some one show)and didn't get home until 10 the next morning. We couldn't find a friend we went to the show with .He ended up at Bellevue after being found by the NYPD walking naked on the Williamsburg Bridge. Our mom's were so pissed we couldn't go to concerts for a while. At least the next week.
Phew I hear that. Such a great lineup! Duane is easily in my top ten favorite guitar players!Sad that Butch has left us though! Glad I got to see The Allmans around 25 times..without Duane unfortunately but a bunch with Dickie.
