I remember this show very well. First off, St Pauli Girl was sponsoring the event so they were selling big cans for the "outrageous" 1986 price of $4.00 a can. Crowd was very loaded. I was up by left side of the stage . Bob comes out from behind the big curtain to a bunch of cheers. He then proceeds to take off the clothes he was wearing and slip into a housecoat that some old lady would be wearing. he then wanders back behind the curtain. About 15 minutes later and the crowd is ready for the show. Out walks a female DJ from I think WLIR to announce the show. As soon as she says her name and radio station, the crowd started throwing those $4.00 cans of St Pauli Girl at the stage. She yells out "Here are the Replacements!" and runs off stage. Curtain opens and the show began. First 2 minutes were basically everyone throwing beer around (including Paul who threw a pitcher back at the crowd). That was the last show I saw with Bob Stinson playing in the band. Was a great night.
